After Free Vaccine Promise In Bihar, One More State Announced A Free Vaccine

The severe criticism caused by the promise made by BJP to offer free Covid-19 in Bihar once the vaccine is rolled has now forced one more state to announce the free Covid-19 vaccine.
All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam(AIDMK) leader and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister E. Palaniswami in his recent press briefing reportedly said the Covid-19 vaccine will be distributed in the state for free of cost.
The Election manifesto released by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in Patna said fresh Covid-19 vaccines will be distributed in the state. The announcement created quite a political stir.
The non-BJP ruling states came down severely on BJP led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the election promise and questioned whether the vaccine will not reach the states ruled by other parties.
Rahul Gandhi took a severe dig at the Indian government announcing a strategy to access the Covid-19 vaccine. He said, to know when the vaccine will reach the state the election schedule of the states should be referred.
While the potential vaccine to cure the pandemic has not been roled out so far, clinical trials of the vaccine are underway.
