Ex-Tamil Nadu CS hospitalised after IT Raids

Former Tamil Nadu Chief Secretary P Rama Mohana Rao complained of chest pain at around 1 AM at his residence. He was rushed to Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre in Porur, Chennai.
Mr.Rao was treated by a Team of Doctors in the Intensive Care Unit. Doctors were monitoring the functioning of his vital organs.
Recently, Income Tax Officials conducted raids at 13 locations belonging to Rama Mohana Rao, his son Vivek and relatives. Rs 30 lakh cash, 5 kg gold and Rs 5 crore unaccounted income in the formed of documents have been seized. IT Officials recorded the phone conversation between sand contractor-cum-TTD Board Member Sekhar Reddy & Rama Mohana Rao on the same day Tamil Nadu CM J Jayalalithaa's funeral was conducted.
After Income Tax raids, Tamil Nadu Government found a replacement for Chief Secreary Rama Mohana Rao. Additional Chief Secretary Girija Vaidyanathan is being chosen for the top post.
