While joining the course, the students have given an undertaking that they will render their services at the State-run hospitals. But they have violated the norms. This is why they were asked to pay the amount, the letter that was sent to the students said.
The state government is seeing the reluctance of the medical students to take up the service at the government hospitals as a serious offence and the concerned deans of the colleges were directed to slap the students with show cause notice for their behaviour.
The list of good decisions taken by MK Stalin after he became the Chief Minister goes on.
