Tamil Nadu Govt Initiates Door To Door Screening To Curb Virus

The AIADMK government is working on a new scheme to curb the coronavirus in the capital, Chennai by screening every home amid rising covid cases.
The government has set up 81 mobile hospitals for this purpose. Each ambulance is equipped with a Doctor, nurse, and lab assistant with Covid examination equipment. There are 15 zones under the Greater Chennai Corporation and the Covid tests will be conducted in these zones within the ambulance.
From now on, 81 special ambulances will serve as hospitals, Minister Vijay Bhaskar said. Since from now, no one needs to reach the government hospitals to take the virus test. The reason for the high number of coronavirus cases in the state and in Chennai is due to the high number of screening every day, he said.
