Don't Ban - Frame Rules Instead: Superstar
By: Tupaki Desk | 15 Jan 2017 8:54 AM GMTTamil Superstar Rajinikanth came in support of Jallikattu which is an integral part of the Tamil Culture. 'Better to frame certain rules to prevent injuries while playing the bull-taming sport rather than imposing a ban,' he opined.
Rajini felt Jallikattu, which is the cultural heritage of Tamil People, should be protected. He went on to add, Such a sport must be allowed to safeguard the traditions of Tamil Culture.
Already, Tamil Nadu Government & Stars such as Kamal Haasan, Suriya, Arya, Vishal and Simbhu have voluntarily backed Jallikattu. Tension prevailed in Tamil Nadu in the wake of ban imposed by the Supreme Court. Whereas, Animal Rights Activists have been firmly opposing the bull-taming sport citing the numerous injuries it could cause.
