Tamilisai Gets 5 Lakh Followers On Twitter

Governor Tamilisai Saundararaan is going places. Besides becoming the governor of both Telangana as well as Puducherry, she is becoming increasingly popular on the social media. On Twitter, the number of her followers has touched the five lakh mark. This is a big achievement considering that she comes from Tamil Nadu, a state where her party is quite weak.
One reason for her popularity on social media, especially Twitter, is her quick response to people's grievances. Whenever citizens approach her with their problems, not only her response is quick, but also the grievance gets addressed quickly. This has made more and more people to approach her online. Interestingly, she has joined the social media only a year-and-a-half ago. At 8.30 PM on Thursday, she touched the five lakh mark. The governor thanked the people for their support and love.
The governor, however, follows only 632 persons. Among those she follows are national and international political leaders, film stars and Tamil politicians. In a recent move, she was given the additional charge as Puducherry governor. This became necessary after the Central Government removed incumbent governor Kiran Bedi.
