Tamilisai's Tribal Tours: More Trouble For KCR?
By: Tupaki Desk | 23 Oct 2019 4:09 AM GMTTelangana Governor Tamilisai Saundararajan's latest decision is again going to rankle the KCR government. After the series of review meetings of various government ministries and after her pro-active role in the RTC strike, Tamilisai is now planning to spend a night in a remote tribal hamlet. The visit is aimed at knowing the conditions of the tribals and about the lacunae in the implementation of the government's welfare programmes.
She expressed the desire to stay in a tribal hamlet for a night during a meeting organised to review the tribal welfare. Earlier, the Governor joined the dances performed by various tribal groups. Tamilisai told the officials that as a medical professional, she had visited the remote tribals of Andaman and Nicobar and stayed there to treat them. She is said to have told the officials that there is a need to understand the cultural divide and the native problems of the tribals.
The Governor has put the TRS government in a spot of bother when she has decided to review the working of various government departments. She has also directly called the Transport Minister to know about the situation arising out of the RTC strike. She has also apprised the Central government about the RTC strike and its fallout. All these are being seen as attempts to undermine the CM.
