IT Raids effect: Puli Morning Shows Cancelled!

Income Tax raids at the houses and offices of Tamil star Vijay and 'Puli' Producers Yesterday have affected the release of the fantasy flick on October 1st. Morning Shows across Tamil Nadu and Overseas Premieres have been cancelled.

IT Sleuths probed the source of funding for 'Puli' and how a PRO could produce such a high budgeted flick which is worth around Rs 100 crore in total business.

Distributors and Exhibitors lost contact with 'Puli' Producers due to IT Raids. The Producers are yet to settle the pending amount to Qube and the KDM will be sent to the theaters only after the clearing of pending dues.

Post the IT Raids, Vijay stepped out of his residence and assured that all the issues will be sorted out by noon.

Sources say, Few dialogues targeting the AIADMK Government and some politically ambitious dialogues could be the reason behind the issues. 'Puli' was even denied Tax Exemption because of the same. Even Vijay's past releases 'Anna' and 'Kaththi' faced similar release hurdles.
