Jagan Prefers BC Leader As AP Speaker

YS Jaganmohan Reddy preferred Tammineni Sitaram as the Speaker of Andhra Pradesh. This Senior Leader from Kalinga, BC Community represents Amudalavalasa Constituency in Srikakulam District as MLA.
Tammineni Sitaram met YS Jagan soon after he was informed about the decision taken by the party. YCP Chief preferred him due to his experience and knowledge on Assembly Affairs.
Until 2004, Tammineni served as Minister in Chandrababu Naidu's cabinet. Prior to 2009 Election, Tammineni joined Praja Rajyam Party but failed to get elected as MLA. Later, He shifted loyalties to YCP and emerged victorious in 2019 Polls.
Ummareddy Venkateswarlu: 'According to Me, Tammineni is capable of speaking on any matter without mincing words. He is known for good oratory skills, knowledge and analytical power. Balancing Ruling Party and Opposition isn't an easy task. Tammineni was preferred as he is best suited for the job'.
