Going into details, Tanzania's President Samia Suluhu Hassan had attracted a huge trouble for calling women footballers with flat chest as the candidates that are less favourites for marriage.
She made the comments while addressing a ceremony that was held to congratulate the national men's team for winning a championship.
To everyone's utter surprise, the comments came while appealing for more funds to encourage the women's sports. The woman President even compared the woman footballers to men.
Samia Suluhu Hassan didn't stop there. She went on to say that, women football players won't have attractive faces. Saying that getting married is a dream to these players, the President maintained that these women players look more like men.
According to the President, women with attractive faces and other qualities are the best pick for marriages. She said the players are losing these qualities gradually.
Having said that, she had also showered praises on the women players for winning matches and bringing Trophies and making the country proud.
However, she expressed concerns over the same women football players finding matches. When the mothers of boys who introduce them as their wives to their respective families, they really can't differentiate between a man and women football players, she told the gathering.
From the opposition leaders and the women organisations in the country and various bodies in other countries as well have come down severely against the President for her sexist comments.
