TCS to Shut down Lucknow Campus!

Tata Consultancy Services is known as the longest consulting services provider in India and the company, TCS has been a big brand in the IT and Software Solutions in India. Well, the company has lot of campuses all over India and world too. But they have decided to shut down their Lucknow Campus and shift operations Noida, New Delhi.
Employees of Lucknow campus have protested this move and wrote letters to Uttar Pradesh CM, Yogi Adityanath to interfere. They have also submitted their requests in the form of Letters to Prime Minister, Narendra Modi and Cabinet IT Minister, Ravi Shankar Prasad and also Deputy Chief Minister of State, Dinesh Sharma, to kindly help them in solving the issue.
Well, TCS management have confirmed that they have decided to shift the campus from Lucknow to Noida. They clarified that they do not intend to remove the employees and rather they will transfer them to Varanasi and Noida campuses.
They specified that the operations in UP are not as strong as the company as hoped over the years and their Lucknow campus has not been fruitful either. So, to strengthen their operations in UP, they have decided cut down on expenditure and hence, a 1000 member Lucknow Campus has to be dissolved they said. TCS has run their Lucknow campus for more than 33 years!
