Cops Opens Fire, Ends Up Shooting TDP Candidate!

An attempt made by the Security Guard to protect the TDP Candidate proved costly in the end.
TDP Mantralayam MLA Candidate Thikka Reddy visited Kagallu Village to hoist the party flag as part of the election campaigning. That is when the Supporters of Sitting YCP MLA Balanagi Reddy made attempts to stop Thikka Reddy and his Followers from visiting the village. A scuffle took place following a serious argument.
Security Guard of Thikka Reddy opened fire in the air to take the situation under control but the bullets had accidentally hit the TDP Candidate and an Assistant Sub-Inspector. Both the injured were rushed to the hospital immediately. Thikka Reddy received a bullet injury on his leg.
Tension prevailed in the Kagallu Village post this incident. Huge police force was deployed to prevent clashes between the two groups.
