RoadShows Ban: TDP Faces Double Blow Ahead Of Kuppam Tour!

It is known that the Andhra Pradesh government took a shocking decision on road shows and public meetings on roads and public places. The Government Order says that such events cannot be allowed in public places as it causes problems to them. After Kandukur and Guntur road show mishaps the government took the decision.
Without any doubt, the GO issued by the government drew sharp reactions and the opposition parties are alleging that the Government order is an effort to stop them from holding the meetings and events. The timeline of the GO also added fuel to this.
Nara Lokesh is likely to start his Padayatra which is expected to cover thousands of kilometers. Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan announced the 'Yuva Sakthi' programme in Ranasthalam this month and his Bus Yatra is also expected to be started either this month or next month.
No matter what the opposition parties are saying, the chances of the ruling party withdrawing the Government Order are very thin. Now the Telugu Desam Party faced the first big blow of the Government order as per the information.
The information is that Telugu Desam Party chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu will tour his Assembly constituency and wanted to address the people at roadshows and meetings in Kuppam. But the permission for the same was denied by the concerned cops.
As prior permission is required to hold roadshows in public places as per the new GO the concerned Police reportedly sent a letter to the organisers of the tour. However, there was no reply and hence the permission is said to have been denied by the cops.
The GO says that permission is a must to hold meetings and events in public places so that people will not face any issues. So the first blow was faced by the grand old Telugu Desam Party.
The opposition party cannot hold the meetings and events as permission was allegedly denied. If the party goes forward and holds meetings then it is a violation of the GO and the Police can take action against the organisers of the events. So it is a double blow for the TDP as far as the events are concerned.
