TDP Focused On Registering Record Win In Kuppam?

Kuppam has been a strong zone of the Telugu Desam Party for some time as the Assembly constituency is represented by the party chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu. He has been winning the seat no matter which party is in power, which says that the constituency is a strong bastion of the grand old party.
But the party faced a big blow as the ruling YSRCP shocked it by winning the local body elections. After a long time, Kuppam fell to the YSRCP. This gave the YSRCP a big hope that it can defeat the party there. The YCP leaders openly said that they will win the Kuppam seat.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy took a few steps and even said that the party should win all the 175 Assembly seats. However, the party became silent on this and the ruling party leaders are not talking about the demand now anymore.
Back-to-back blows in the MLC elections might have been the reason behind this. Though the YSRCP is not talking about Kuppam demand, the opposition Telugu Desam Party is not taking it lightly and is alert on the Assembly seat as the party chief losing the election will not give a positive message.
As part of the efforts, the Telugu Desam Party has put special focus on the Kuppam Assembly seat and wants to win the seat with a big margin. The Party leadership is said to have appointed a few committees in the region so that the members of the body will work with the party activists and workers.
After the 2019 election defeat, the morale of the party activists went for a beating as the party did not register such a worse performance in the elections. So the party is working on bringing back the forces together and registering a huge win.
Moreover, a few fans of Jr NTR earlier demanded that the star hero should be brought back to the party fold. Through the party leaders giving a positive response to this, the fans of the star in the region are not happy and the committees might also try to pacify them.
