Today is a special day to remember for the fans of the Nandamuri family and Telugu Desam Party sympathizers. Yesteryear Super Star Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, who enjoyed god-like status among the Telugu audiences had added one more feather to his illustrious cap exactly on this day four decades ago.

Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, popularly called Anna Garu had founded the grand old Telugu Desam Party on 29 March 1982. Today marks the 40th year of the party's inception. NTR had created a record of becoming the first non-Congress Chief Minister in the combined Andhra Pradesh.

On the occasion of the special day, the Telugu Desam Party followers and sympathizers abroad are celebrating the day in their respective places. The followers across the Telugu states are also celebrating the special day. Joining the force, a special logo was made for the day.

The logo design has pictures of Telugu Desam Party founder chief NTR and current chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu interacting with people. The picture also has 40 years of TDP written in Telugu.

The Telugu Desam Party leadership also made massive plans to celebrate the special day. The party flags will be hoisted in the party offices and special programs will be held in various places including Nimmakuru, Magalagairi, and Hindupur.

What we hear from the sources is that the Telugu Desam Party wants to make the best out of the situation and for the same reason, Nimmakauru and Hindupur were selected for the celebrations. Nimmakuru is the native place of NTR and Hindupur is the constituency that has been represented by the NTR family.

Earlier, NTR himself used to represent the constituency, and currently, Nandamuri scion Balakrishna is representing the Hindupur Assembly constituency. Despite the Jagan wave, TDP had managed to win the constituency.

The Telugu Desam Party sympathizers are hoping that the party will make a strong comeback in the forthcoming polls and make it to power. It is not going to be an easy task given the problematic situation the party is going through right now. There are no strong leaders who can assure the safety of the party cadre and no party can survive without a strong cadre.
