TDP Leaders Knocking BJP's Doors
By: Tupaki Desk | 28 May 2019 7:20 AM GMTYS Jagan doesn't need them. With the kind of majority he has got, he does not even need to touch them with a barge pole. The Telugu Desam is in shambles and is yet to get over the shock. So, where will these leaders go?
Yes, we are talking about the TDP leaders who have lost the election and are staring at a bleak future. Where will they go? They do not want to be in TDP anymore and are not exactly welcomed by the YSRCP. The Jana Sena is dead as a Dodo. The Congress has no future left.
Many of these TDP leaders have cases pending against him and may have to face man more cases. They made hell lot of money and want a protector and a benefactor. For all these leaders, the BJP seems to be a golden gateway to protection. Many of these leaders are already knocking the doors of the BJP.
But, will the BJP welcome them? Will it open its doors for the tainted and the corrupt? Will BJP encourage those who come from one specific caste or community? Highly unlikely. The BJP top leadership is very particular to protect the image of the party. It does not want corrupt elements. It wants those who would strengthen the party in Andhra Pradesh and not liabilities. By the way, if all these leaders desert the sinking ship that the TDP is, what will be the position of Chandrababu Naidu?
