TDP Makes Bold Move, To Run The Huzurabad By-election

Making the upcoming Huzurabad by-elections even more interesting, the grand old Telugu Desam Party(TDP) is all set to foray into the elections and try its luck in the election. The information is not media reports but the statements of a TDP leader.
Telangana TDP leader Ambati Jojireddy, who holds the party's in-charge post of Karimnagar region held a press meet to confirm the news of TDP joining the election. He said the candidate would be announced soon.
The key take-aways in the press meets are that the party candidate for the by-election would be announced by TDP chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu and the announcement would be made once the election notification is issued.
We have to admit that TDP took a tough call in this regard given the fact that TDP is very weak in Telangana compared to AP. There are no strong leaders in Telangana and the T-TDP chief also joined the TRS seeing no growth in the party.
The main task for TDP is that a suitable candidate should be finalized and the party should focus on the party cadre and take the required measures to strengthen it. As the election is expected to be a tri-faced battle among TRS-BJP-Congress, TDP is likely to not stand any chance in the polls.
