TDP Men Clash With YSRCP Workers In Vizag

The high-handed actions of the Telugu Desam MLA from Vizag East constituency and his supporters led to free-for-all in Ramakrishnapuram area on Monday. The TDP activists and the YSRCP workers entered into fisticuffs at a a stone-laying function in Ramakrishnapuram.
Several persons, including TDP MLA Velagapudi Ramakrishna suffered minor injuries. The YSRCP workers tried to protest against the MLA not paying adequate attention to the constituency. They said the MLA was not being visiting several parts of the constituency. At this, the TDP workers entered into verbal duel, which soon deteriorated into fisticuffs. The people pelted stones and broken coconuts on the MLA and his supporters. In the melee, the MLA suffered minor injuries.
The YSRCP alleged that the supporters of the MLA tried to block them and turned violent. As a result, they were forced to retaliate, they said.
