Before 2014 Elections, Narayana Educational Institutions head P Narayana wasn't active in politics. Chandrababu Naidu hasn't only inducted him into the AP Cabinet but also offered him the crucial Municipal Ministry soon after forming the government. This development came as a big surprise for Opposition Parties, Political Analysts and Public.
Not many knew that P Narayana have the desire to get elected to the Assembly. So, He is keen to test his luck in the 2019 General Elections by contesting from Nellore City Assembly Constituency. For that to happen, The Minister has to sideline four aspirants in the party.
1) Mayor Abdul Ajij defected to TDP from YCP and bagged Mayor post in Minority quota. He is seeking Nellore City ticket in Minority Quota as there are 30,000 muslim voters in the constituency.
2) Nellore City TDP in-charge M Sridhar Krishna Reddy unsuccessfully contested against YCP candidate Anil Kumar Yadav in 2014 Polls. He wishes to be TDP Candidate in 2019 as well.
3) NUDA Chairman Kotamreddy Srinivasulu Reddy pinned all the hopes on Balakrishna for whom he is a die-hard fan.
4) Former Municipal Chairperson Tallapaka Anuradha has been lobbying for the TDP ticket since sometime.
If not Nellore City, P Narayana would prefer contesting from Nellore Rural or Tirupati. Let's see what will happen..!
