TDP MLA makes Acting Debut

TDP MLA Gollapalli Surya Rao is making his foray into acting. He is essaying the role of freedom fighter Lala Lajpat Rai in a Telugu Tele Serial.
Actually, The TV Serial is a biopic of Dr.BR Ambedkar. AP Government extended financial assistance to this Serial lasting for 100 Episodes. It will be telecasted on Government-run Doordarshan and an Entertainment Channel.
Gollapalli Surya Rao is known to be the trusted aide of AP CM Chandrababu Naidu. He is representing Razole Assembly Constituency in East Godavari. Mr. Rao aspired for Cabinet Berth during the recent cabinet expansion. However, CBN denied him ministerial berth due to caste equations and high competition. Since then, Gollapalli Surya Rao isn't actively participating in party activities.
