Reverse Attack: RGV Sends Legal Notice To MLA!
X
TDP MLA SV Mohan Reddy filed a police complaint against Ram Gopal Varma for allegedly defaming AP CM Chandrababu Naidu with inclusion of 'Vennupotu' song in 'Lakshmi's NTR'. And now, Varma filed a counter complaint terming the complaint filed by the TDP Legislator as 'malicious' and 'motivated'.

In the complaint filed in Kurnool, Varma made it clear nobody was defamed with 'Vennupotu' song. Logics has been pointed out by the Filmmaker - 'No names were mentioned. Only the photographs of various people who were involved in the incidents at that period of time have been shown. Secondly, Being an MLA...you should be aware of the fact that only the person who have been defamed can file defamation. According to you, Chandrababu Naidu was defamed. So, Only Naidu can file a defamation suit not you'.

Varma accused the TDP MLA of offering wide publicity to his police complaint to tarnish his image in the press, TV and social media. He went on to say SV Mohan Reddy has given a false complaint despite being aware that it isn't maintainable. 'Lodging of a false complaint to the police itself is an offence under Section 182 of IPC. You have given this complaint only to harass and malign, cause injury and annoyance to him. My client therefore calls upon you to publicly apologise and withdraw the police complaint within 48 hours, or else face appropriate legal action, both civil and criminal proceedings,' says RGV's Counsel.
