The Covid reinfection which resulted in a tense situation in some parts of the country has now entered Andhra Pradesh raising many concerns. A politician came in contact with the disease for the second time.
TDP leader and MLC Bachula Arjunudu got reinfected with the novel Coronavirus. He underwent Corona tests after developing symptoms of difficulties while taking a breath.
After testing positive for the virus for the second time, the MLC got himself admitted to a private hospital in Vijayawada. Reports claim that MLC's health condition is serious.
With the MLC's health condition deteriorating, the TDP chief and former Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is said to have made arrangements to shift Bachula Arjunudu to Hyderabad for better treatment.
Looking at Andhra Pradesh's Coronavirus caseload zoomed to 8,70,076 after 664 fresh cases were registered in the past 24 hours. While 856320 patients have recovered so far, the active cases stood at 6742. So far, a total of 7014 patients have succumbed to the pandemic.
