On Wednesday, JC Diwakar Reddy went to TDLP, CLP and TRS LP in the Telangana Assembly. At Congress Legislative Party, He made few interesting comments while speaking to Leader of Opposition Jana Reddy. 'At the time of bifurcation, We brought the proposal of merging Kurnool and Anantapur districts in Telangana but no one bothered to pay heed. Had if it was done, Congress would have come to power in Telangana,' he opined, apart from complaining T-Congress Leaders failed to expose the failures of TRS Government.
Speaking with Finance Minister Etela Rajendar in Assembly lobby, JC commented that injustice is being done to Anantapur and Kurnool because of bifurcation. 'Had if these districts were merged, We would have asked Telangana CM KCR to release water through Srisailam Project. But, We are now forced to plead both the CMs to address water crisis,' he told.
