Note ban a disgrace to Modi: Rayapati
By: Tupaki Desk | 10 Dec 2016 8:14 AM GMTTDP MP Rayapati Sambasiva Rao opined demonetisation is a bad remark on Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He commented that AP CM Chandrababu Naidu was appointed as Convenor of CM's Committee for damage control.
Rayapati: 'I am not against scrapping of Rs 500 and Rs 1000 but it's implementation has become a huge concern. Centre failed to replace 86 percent of higher denomination notes so far. Significant damage was done to BJP. Even TDP have the chances of paying the hefty price'.
The Senior Parliamentarian pointed out the backdoor bank transactions since November 10th. He says few individuals are able to convert their ill-gotten money into new currency or gold.
Yesterday, Centre informed Supreme Court that situation will be normal within 10 to 15 days.
