West Godavari is one district in AP where YSR Congress failed to win at least a single seat in 2014 Elections. Altogether, There are 15 Assembly and 3 Parliament Constituencies here. While TDP won 14 Assembly & 2 MP seats, BJP managed to win the remaining one MLA & MP seats.
Whether TDP will be able to repeat the same feat in 2019 Polls? Issues such as Kapu Reservation, Group Wars, Corruption, Protests against Aqua Food Park and Boycott of Dalits in Gangaparru village are going to prove costly for the Ruling Party.
At the same time, Jagan received overwhelming response when he visited Gangaparru recently. Which is an indication that the situation isn't in favour of TDP in West Godavari. TDP-BJP Combine received 60 percent vote share in 2014 Polls. Whereas, YCP managed 40 percent vote share. The difference isn't big enough & anything could happen in 2019.
