TDP Ready To Go Any Extent To Revive Friendship with BJP?
By: Tupaki Desk | 6 Aug 2022 12:39 PM GMTThe grand old Telugu Desam Party is dealing with the biggest crisis it had ever faced. After registering a record low seats in the 2019 general polls, many leaders left the party, and the opposition party is doing damage control from the root level as the party is busy finalising candidates for the polls.
Simultaneously, Telugu Desam Party is also focusing on reviving the friendly ties with Bharatiya Janata Party. The recent Presidential polls and vice-presidential polls served as a big platform for TDP to show its openness to being friendly with BJP yet again.
No matter what, the TDP is not leaving any stone unturned to get friendly with BJP again. Under the same efforts, the Telugu Desam Party leaders are taking part in the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign. The social media DPs of the big leaders in the party already turned into Indian flags.
Despite heavy criticism that TDP is doing more than required to seek friendly hands with BJP, the grand old party is not bothered about it and it is not leaving any opportunity to show its interest to revive the friendship with former ally BJP.
When TDP supported BJP's candidate in the Presidential polls, the opposition party was accused of putting political benefits over state interests. However, the opposition party is going ahead with its agenda by batting a blind eye toward the criticism.
