Post 2014 Elections, TRS launched Operation Akash to continue in power for full term because of the slight majority (63 seats) it attained. The Ruling Party needn't have to lure any of the Opposition MLAs or Independents after winning 88 seats in 2018 Assembly Polls. Present Situation is such that Opposition Legislators have been voluntarily offering to join the Ruling Party.
Apparently, Sandra Venkata Veeraiah is one of the accused in Cash-for-Vote Case along with Revanth Reddy and Chandrababu Naidu. If he gets any respectable position in TRS, Both Naidu and Revanth would be under serious trouble as there could be a ploy behind it.
Revanth Reddy moved to Congress but failed to escape defeat in Kodangal. Whether he would keep his promise of political sanyas after facing defeat in his own constituency? In this situation, Reopening of the Cash-for-Vote Case will be a shocking blow to him.
