Why TDP is supporting KVP?

It may be a big surprise to know about the support extended by Telugu Desam Party to Congress Rajya Sabha MP KVP Ramachandra Rao's private bill seeking special category status for AP.
KVP Ramachandra Rao moved private bill in Rajya Sabha during the previous session asking NDA Government to accord Special Category Status to the capital-less state. The Congress Leader even sought the support of TDP for the Bill introduced by him.
As the private bill is expected to come up for discussion during the upcoming Monsoon Session of Parliament, TDP decided to extend its support. The decision was taken during TDP Parliamentary Party meeting on Saturday.
Anantapur MP JC Diwakar Reddy made it clear that TDP is ready to support anyone who fights in the best interest of AP.
