TDP's Surprising Decision On Munugode Bypolls!
By: Tupaki Desk | 13 Oct 2022 11:43 AM GMTAll eyes are now on the upcoming Munugode by-election in Telangana to know which party would win. The three major parties were on the job and earlier it was reported that the grand old Telugu Desam Party would also join the political fight and the party would announce the candidate for the by-election.
But a shocking development happened now after the grand old Telugu Desam Party reportedly decided to stay out of the polls. The decision shocked the TDP sympathizers and aspirants in the region. No matter what they think, the party leadership already took its decision.
There is already a tough fight between BJP, TRS, and Congress here and no one can assure if the Telugu Desam Party can win the polls or not. Though TDP is not in the state it still has a good number of supporters. If not win the polls, TDP can at least divide the votes.
It is said that a few leaders reportedly advised Chandrababu Naidu to not go to the polls as it can damage the party's image. Though TDP stopped looking at Telangana after the controversial vote for note scam, it still has a good image and the TDP supporters don't want to spoil it.
On the other hand, Telugu Desam Party doesn't want to come in the way of the BJP and spoil Revanth Reddy's chances. TDP is trying hard to revive the friendly ties with the saffron party. Revanth Reddy was a strong man from TDP and he still has respect for the party and the chief.
