TDP to enter alliance with old friend outside AP!

Telugu Desam Party, founded by Tollywood thespian Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao was floated against the Congress party. NTR had strictly followed the anti-Congress sentiment. Anna NTR stood by his stand opposing the Congress party in his political career. Even after losing his CM position, NTR did not change his mind.
The party that was a strong Congress opposer had made many heads turn by joining hands with the same Congress party for the general elections in Telangana in 2018. TDP, Congress, and other parties have allied.
Now the two grand-old political parties are all set to enter an alliance for one time. Congress and TDP are gearing up to enter the polls together. However, the parties are not trying their luck in the Telugu states.
It is said that Congress and TDP will contest the Municipal and Panchayat elections in the Union Territory Andaman and the Nicobar Islands. The elections are slated to be held next month.
Media reports claim that Telugu Desam Party will run the elections in three wards, while the Congress party will run the polls in the remaining wards.
