TDP-turned-YSRCP MLA Vasupalli Ganesh Resigns from Party posts

In a shocking incident, Vizag South MLA Vasupalli Ganesh has submitted his resignation from all party posts in protest against what he called the lack of trust in him by the YSRCP coordinators. He sent in his resignation to party's regional coordinator YV Subba Reddy. He said he was fed up with the group politics in the YSRCP.
Sources say that Subba Reddy grilled Vasupalli Ganesh about various issues. An upset Ganesh left the meeting in a huff and later sent in his resignation from the party posts. He is currently the president of the Vizag South assembly constituency.
For quite sometime, Vizag South MLA Vasupalli Ganesh Kumar is said to be in two minds. He is physically in the YSRCP, but his thoughts, it appears, are with the TDP. In fact, he is a two-time TDP MLA who managed to win on TDP ticket despite the YSRCP tsunami in the 2019 elections. But, various compulsions such as the need to protect his educational institutions forced him to join the YSRCP.
Though he is in the YSRCP, he is still said to be keeping a distance from the party's day-to-day affairs. Also, he is said to be associating himself with former TDP leaders, who accompanied him into the YSRCP. He is actively holding Praja Durbars to reach out to the voters of his constituency.
The YSRCP leaders in the district and those at the state level are said to have taken note of Vasupalli Ganesh's approach. He has even skipped the swearing-in of Avanthi Srinivas as the district YSRCP president. The party is said to be contemplating to give the ticket to someone else in the upcoming elections ang sideline Vasupalli Ganesh. Meanwhile, there is a talk that Ganesh has already opened a channel with the TDP with the help of former minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao.
