TDP Withdraws From Palair By-election

Telangana TDP had decided not to contest in Palair by-election.TDP will support a family member of former MLA Ramreddy Venkat Reddy and will not contest the Palair bypol.
It's known that the TRS has announced that it will field minister Tummala Nageshwara Rao for the byelection, while the TDP candidate is expected to be Naama Nageshwara Rao. But TDP has changed its decision and decided to not to contest.TDP state leadership decided to follow the norms of not to contest the elections in case of death of a member and ensure unanimous elections.
Telangana TDP leaders Revanth Reddy, Nama Nageswara Rao, Sathupally MLA Sandra Venkata Veeraiah and other leaders met party president and AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu at his camp office in Vijayawada on Saturday. Naidu who discussed with them has left the decision to contest to the leaders themselves.
However Telugu Desam Party never won from Palair till now.The by-elections for the Palair Assembly constituency was necessitated due to the death of Venkat Reddy. Sucharitha Reddy, wife of Congress MLA Ramreddy Venkat Reddy will be the Congress candidate for the Palair bypolls.
