Tdp, Ysrcp At Congress Leader's Birthday Bash: Will There Be A New Alignment F Forces

The presence of the MPs of arch rivals TDP and the YSRCP at the same birthday party has become the talk of the town in Delhi. While there is nothing wrong with people of different political persuasions attending parties, this meeting is being viewed differently as the party was organized by a Congress leader, who wanted to bring all anti-BJP elements on one platform.
Recently, Congress senior leader Kapil Sibal threw a party in New Delhi on his birthday. Congress biggies like Shashi Tharoor were present. Kapil Sibal invited leaders from 23 parties. There were no invitees from the BJP. But, both the TDP and YSRCP, who are angling for friendship with the BJP, attended the meeting. Their presence was considered significant. More interestingly, the MPs from the rival parties sat together and chatted away freely.
This meeting has sparked off speculations that there is a rethink about their relationship with the BJP. Are both the regional parties in AP trying to move away from the BJP? Are the unhappy with the way the BJP is treating them? If YSRCP leaves its friendship with the BJP, will the TDP step in and become a partner with the BJP in AP? Will the birthday bash become an instrument to bring all the political parties on an anti-BJP platform?
More importantly, is this an initiative of the Congress Party or that of Kapil Sibal alone. After all, Kapil Sibal is not on best of terms with the Gandhi-Nehru family. There are questions and questions. One has to wait for the answers. Let’s wait and see how things unfold in the days to come.
