TDP, YSRCP raise political heat with massive outreach programmes
By: Tupaki Desk | 30 April 2022 6:05 AM GMTThe summer heat is rising with each passing day. But, more than that the political heat is rising in Andhra Pradesh. Both the main parties - the ruling YSRCP and the opposition TDP are planning to launch massive public outreach programmes to reach out to the voters of the state.
The YSRCP is launching "Intintiki YSRCP" (YSRCP every home) programme from May 10, while the TDP is planning a programme with the same title "Intintiki TDP" from June 1. The YSRCP has already appointed its ministers as incharges and it has also appointed district coordinators for the purpose. The teams of YSRCP workers will fan out into the nook and corner of the state and would explain about the welfare programmes of the government.
In addition, YS jagan has asked the MLAs to visit every household in their respective constituencies at least three times in the coming one year. They have been told to listen to the complaints of the people and explain about what the Government was doing for their welfare. The YSRCP leaders are said to be mugging up about the slew of welfare programmes of the party.
Meanwhile, the TDP has chalked out a programme of an interface with the people across the state soon after the Mahanadu. In the coming two years, the TDP cadre will go to every household to highlight the failures of the state government led by YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. These yatras would continue for the coming two years, say sources.
