OMG: Rs 9 crore for Tea, Samosa & Gulab Jamun!

Since Akhilesh Yadav took oath as CM on March 15th, 2012 to March 15th, 2016, Rs 8,78,12,474 have been splurged over tea and snacks. Chief Minister himself disclosed it during the ongoing Monsoon Session of Assembly.
Minister of State for Social Welfare (Independent Charge) Arun Kumar Kori leads with an expenditure of Rs 22.93 lakh in four years. He was followed by Urban Development Minister Mohammad Azam Khan who splurged Rs 22.86 lakh. Sports & Youth Welfare Minister Ram Karan Arya and Land Development & Water Resources Minister Jagdish Sonkar spent Rs 21 lakh each.
PWD Minister Shivpal Yadav spent not even a single penny on refreshments. Isn't that interesting?
As per norms, Each Minister is entitled to spend Rs 2,500 per day on refreshments within the state and Rs 3,000 per day outside the state while performing duties.
