Teacher Gives 0 Instead Of 99 Marks, Gets Sacked!

After the submission of report by the 3-Member Panel appointed by the Telangana Government, Board of Intermediate Education (BIE) began taking action against those who were found guilty of misusing the opportunity given in the form of valuation of Intermediate Examination Papers.
Uma Devi, a Teacher of a Private School, had given 0 marks instead of 99 marks while evaluating the Telugu Paper of 12th Standard Student Navya. While the Inter Board imposed a fine of Rs 5,000 on the Teacher, The Private School where she works has sacked her.
Board of Intermediate Education (BIE) suspended Vijay Kumar who is a teacher of a tribal welfare school for failing to spot the blunder during the scrutiny.
Over 3 Lakh Intermediate Students were declared failed by the Board of Intermediate Education. After the announcement of results, Close to 20 Students committed suicides. Protests have been staged by Parents, Students and Political Parties against the goof-up of the Inter Board. Action was demanded against BIE Higher Officials and the Globarena Technologies which was responsible for the whole issue.
