By: Tupaki Desk | 25 Oct 2020 9:47 AM GMTThe Andhra Pradesh Government led by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has earlier announced that the schools in the state will be reopened from November 2, for the academic year 2020-21.
Now it is reported that the teachers working in the government schools should undergo pandemic tests before coming to school and submit the test reports to higher officials.
The government allegedly made the pandemic tests mandatory. Only the teachers who test negative for the pandemic will be allowed to come to the schools. They can get themselves tested in any centers across the state.
As children are more vulnerable to the pandemic, the state government took the decision to not take any sort of risk.
The schools in the states which were shut for over six months will resume its operations from November 2. Earlier, the schools were scheduled to reopen from October 5, which was postponed with the pandemic outbreak.
