Here Majlis Is Opposing TRS

That the Majlis is a staunch TRS backer is well-known. Majlis is never tired of praising KCR and the TRS. It has already given a call to the Muslims to vote for the TRS. But, there is one small, but significant exception. In one constituency, it says it will not support the TRS, come what may. It has categorically said that it will support only Congress Party in that constituency.

That constituency is Mudhole in Nirmal district. The TRS has fielded sitting MLA Vithal Reddy and the Congress has fielded Pawar Rama Rao Patel. The main grouse of the MIM is that Vithal Reddy has done nothing for the minorities and had in fact ignored their interests. So, the minorities are angry and are not willing to vote for Reddy. So the MIM has decided not to support him.

Mudhole has a huge number of voters from the minority community. If the community takes a stand against the TRS, the candidate could lose. So, the TRS top leaders have taken up the issue with Asaduddin Owaisi, the TRS chief. But, the MIM is unrelenting. The TRS leaders are now a worried lot.

Will MIM relent? Will it finally forgive Reddy and back the TRS? Or will they support the Congress Party in Mudhole? Let's wait and see.
