Let's Forgive KCR: Telangana BJP
By: Tupaki Desk | 6 March 2018 8:33 AM GMTBJP Leaders made a hue & cry over the 'Modi Gadu' comment made by Telangana Chief Minister KCR during the Farmers Coordination Committee meeting. They kept targeting TRS Supremo and sought an apology to the people of the country for making disrespectful comment on Prime Minister. Telangana BJP Leaders planned to surround Pragathi Bhavan and tension prevailed because of it. BJP Chief K Laxman, Floor Leader Kishan Reddy and MLA Raja Singh were house arrested at 8 am. MLA Chintala Ramachandra Reddy was arrested by police while he was reaching Pragathi Bhavan in an auto. Former MLA Baddam Balreddy and few others were taken into custody at Punjagutta. MLC N Ramachandra Rao was shifted to Bollaram Police Station as a precautionary measure.
BJYM Activists reached Pragathi Bhavan in RTC Buses and attempted to jump over the entrance gate. All of them have been arrested by the police personnel. BJP Activists raised slogans against the Chief Minister.
BJP President K Laxman alleged there is no difference between dictator Nizam and KCR. He condemned the arrest of BJP Leaders and Workers. 'Our fight won't end until KCR issues an apology. BJP Activists will follow CM wherever he might go,' he warned.
On the other hand, BJP State Core Committee decided not to prolong the issue as KCR kept saying he hasn't insulted PM Modi at all. BJP Central Leadership could have passed a message to end the issue.
