By: Tupaki Desk | 16 Dec 2020 1:09 PM GMTThe century-old Congress is on a losing spree in elections in Telangana. The series of election defeats made the party even weaker. Adding more troubles, leaders started to quit the party before and after the GHMC polls.
In what it could be a brutal shock to the Congress party, one more senior leader who once served as a Minister is said to be making plans to shift his loyalty to the BJP party.
Reports claimed that Congress party senior Dalit leader A Chandrasekhar, who once served as Minister might wear a BJP shawl very soon. He has been maintaining a distance from the party activities for quite a time allegedly.
It has been widely reported that the Dalit leader will shift his loyalty to the saffron party very soon. He is said to be wearing the BJP shawl formally by conducting a meeting.
Looking at the leader's political career, he started his political career as a TDP leader. Under the TDP ticket, he won from the Vikarabad constituency as an MLA.
Later, he quit the TDP and joined the Telangana Rashtra Samithi(TRS) party. Post-2014 elections, he shifted his loyalties to the Congress party after KCR starting giving chances to new leaders.
