People who wish to get married needn't have to make several rounds to Registrar's Office any more. Ending the Manual Process, Telangana Government has introduced online registration of marriages.
As per the new system, People should submit applications online with the Aadhar Card numbers and other valid documents of both Bride and Groom. Applicants will have the luxury to choose the date of appointment from the options mentioned. The time slot will be issued soon after the acceptance of the application.
On the Marriage Day, Applicants need to carry documents confirming their Nationality, Age and Marital Status. Upon verification, Marriage will happen at the Registrar's Office. Marriage Certificates can be received online as well.
All the existing 141 Registrar Offices in Telangana have been integrated. This should end the culture of multiple marriages of Individuals.
