Why Government Is Afraid Of Cameramen?

In what could be seen as a major comedown, the Telangana Government will now have to allow the photographing of the demolition of the secretariat. The government tried to ensure that no photos of the demolition of the historic structures are taken. So, it banned the entry of media personnel.
Even the constables and daily wage workers were not allowed to click pictures. Some intrepid journalists climbed up the buildings nearby and tried to take photographs. But, the government has threatened the building owners not to allow the camera persons into their buildings. The police warned them of dire consequenes. But, on Friday, the High Court took the Government to task and asked it not to harasss the building owners.
But, one fails to understand why the Government is afraid of the media and why is it trying to block them. Afterall, construction of the new secretariat is a matter of pride for the Government and KCR is going ahead willy nilly. That being the case, why the Government is unwilling to allow the media? Quite surprising. Isn't it?
