Telangana Governor Dodges Questions on Recent Meetings!
By: Tupaki Desk | 7 April 2022 11:52 AM GMTThings are not going well between Telangana Chief Minister Kalvakuntla Chandrashekar Rao and Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan for some time. The alleged issue got publicized when the recent Assembly sessions started without the Governor's address. One wonders why the protocol is not followed
Amid this, the Governor reached the national capital Delhi and met Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. This made everyone think that she might have discussed the issue with the Delhi leadership.
She spoke to the media after meeting the dignitaries. The media had posted some interesting questions to her on what went through the meetings. The Governor had cleverly dodged the questions and said that she cannot reveal the information.
However, she reportedly expressed her dissatisfaction over how her office was treated by the state government. Saying that she has no issues with anyone, she asked why no one attended the Ugadi celebrations when she had invited everyone for the same. I have treated KCR as my brother, but he does not respect the office.
I am not angry with anyone. I don't mind if anyone doesn't respect me as a Tamilisai. But the position I hold should be respected. Despite having the power, I am not taking any action for protocol break, the governor said.
