The two-judge bench led by Chief Justice Raghavendra Singh Chauhan which hearing a public interest writ petition over the Dharani portal issued interim orders to stay the registration of Non-Agricultural lands.
It is believed that the panel raised many points over the registration process and asked the Telangana government to not stress the citizens to reveal their details.
The panel found several violations with the process involved in collecting the data from the citizens and said the citizens cannot be forced to submit their Aadhar card details and caste details.
The bench adjourned the next hearing of the petition and granted two weeks for the state government to file a counter-affidavit.
