Despite uproar over increasing fuel prices, NDA Government decreased the petrol price by just 9 paise per litre. And now, Prime Minister Narendra Modi received a befitting response from a Telangana Man.
Chandu Goud who hails from Sircilla district donated 9 paise to the Prime Minister's Relief Fund. He has handed over the cheque at the Collector's office.
Mr.Goud was annoyed about the fact that Modi Government reduced price by 9 paise after 16 days of relentless fuel price hikes. 'On Sunday, I bought a litre of petrol costing Rs 83. By the end of the day, Price has been reduced by 9 paise. When I purchased a litre of petrol the next morning, Petrol Bunk Staff has no change to charge exactly Rs 82.91. So, I decided to issue a cheque of 9 paise to PM Relief Funds'.
Sircilla Collector Krishna Bhasker informed cheque given by Chandu Goud was sent to the PMRF.
