Telangana Government unveils Maps of New Districts

Telangana Government took the call to create as many as 17 New Districts and a Draft Notification was issued in this regard already. People can convey their objections on the delimitation of Districts for about one month. Based on the feedback, Govt would make necessary modifications.
So far, More than 5,000 requests and objections have been received by TRS Government on the delimitation of Districts. Using the portal launched by Government, People could express their grievances.
As of now, There are 10 Districts, 44 Revenue Divisions and 459 Mandals in Telangana. If the Draft Notification issued by State Government gets approved, Telangana will have 27 Districts, 58 Revenue Divisions and 490 Mandals by October 11th this year on the eve of auspicious Dussehra.
