Telangana: People going abroad for Job Purposes to get vaccinated

As a bid to see that people who will go abroad for job purposes will not face any issues, the KCR-led Telangana government has decided to administer vaccine doses to people who are heading abroad.
An announcement from the Telangana Director of Public Health and Family Welfare on the vaccinations was issued the other day, including the guidelines for the vaccination drive. 11 centres were picked to carry out the vaccinations.
In the guidelines, the Family Welfare department said that in order to take the vaccine doses at the selected vaccine centres, the people have to show their passport along with the work permits.
At the vaccination centres, the eligible people will be given Covishield doses 28 days after giving the first dose.The slot to take the vaccine should be booked on the CoWIN portal under the special category by uploading the work visa image.
The concerned officials have been directed to make the required arrangements for the vaccinations of the eligible beneficiaries.
On the other hand, the state government had vaccinated more than one crore beneficiaries with 1,06,53,491 people receiving their due doses. More than two lakh beneficiaries are being vaccinated on a daily basis in the state.
Less than a thousand fresh Covid cases were reported for the second day in a row after 993 more people were infected with the virus in the past 24 hours. So far a total of 6,21,606 people were infected with the virus, while 6,04,093 of them were declared cured.
