Telangana Police changed luxury cars plans

KCR announced new set of plans for Hi-tech policing in Hyderabad as part of cabinet decision to improve security standards. As part of this decision Telangana state government is in plans to order large no of vehicles to maintain international standards of policing. T-Government started its plans of bidding process as well.
Now there is a twist in these plans that, Earlier T-Government thought to buy Toyota Innovas earlier changing its mind to go with Maruthi Ertiga. The main reason behind this decision is that Ertiga cost is six lakhs less than Innova having same capacity and maintaining less fuel consumption.
Maruthi representatives rushed to Telangana and given a demo of the vehicle with police stickers as well. The total contract cumulates around 1500 vehicles tempting Maruthi representatives. Due to this reason they are highlighting Mileage and cost figures to get attention of T-Government. A source confirming that after meeting with Maruthi representatives T-Governemnt is rethinking about this purchase contract.
