Telangana Rajaka, Nayee Brahmin communities oppose Power Policy!
By: Tupaki Desk | 15 Feb 2022 5:29 PM ISTThe saffron party Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) continues to face flack in Telangana over the policies taken by the Union government. Earlier, the farmers have accused the party of creating issues for the farmers in the paddy procurement row.
Now another policy is haunting the Union Government as the Rajaka Community and Naaye Brahmin communities in Telangana are staging protests in the state against the power policy that was introduced by the Centre recently.
Alleging that the Centre's power policy will not enable them to continue their occupations, they have decided to take forward the protest against the power policy.
The Community leaders have demanded the Union government that the policy should be scrapped at the earliest.
To show their protest against the BJP, the Nayee Brahmin leaders have warned that if the Centre doesn't call back the controversial power policy then they will not do shaving and cutting for the BJP leaders in the state.
Speaking to the media, the community leaders said that, the power policy proposed by the Center mentions that the free power offered by the State government should be canceled and if the same happens then they will get affected by this.
On the other hand, the TRS party had accused the BJP that the party wants to privatise the power sector and that's why such power policies were introduced by the Centre.
