Telangana records least unemployment rate in India!

The unemployment rate which was at its peak in India when the Covid had hit the country started to come down steadily. Various aspects like the unlocking have helped India to see a dip in the unemployment rate. A recent report says the unemployment rate is decreasing rapidly in the country.
The Centre for Monitoring Indian Economy (CMIE), an independent think-tank, had issued a report on the unemployment rate in the country. As a crackdown on the unemployment rate, the report also gave details on the rate in various states.
According to the report, the national unemployment rate stood at the lowest since the last year with 6.57 percent. The unemployment rate has been declining steadily which was 7.91 percent in December last year.
Coming to the unemployment rate in the states, Telugu state Telangana reported the lowest rate with a mere 0.7 percent. BJP ruled Gujarat has the second-lowest unemployment rate with 1.2 percent. Meghalaya and Odisha stood at the next positions with 1.5 percent and 1.8 percent respectively.
While Telangana saw the lowest unemployment rate among the states in India, fellow Telugu state Andhra Pradesh recorded a medium unemployment rate with 6.2 percent, the report says.
